Plan B or No Plan B…That is the question

For all leaders who are doing digital or phygital (physical + digital) ministry, how would you answer this question?

Our churches are at the mercy of online platforms. Is there a plan “B” if we are removed from our favorite media platforms?

The answer is one word: Backup!

Just like you back up your home computer, your phone, and your website, you want to back up your social media platforms in the event of technical failure.

Here is what the experts have to say about protecting your content AND your community from disappearing:

• Create an APP. An APP can provide all your content AND create a database of users.
• Upload all your content to a podcast or website.
• Use a streaming platform to record your messages. For example: Church Online Platform, StreamYard, or Boxcast
• Utilize online connection cards to collect name, email, and phone number.
• You can embed a simple intake form on your Facebook business page using the JotForm Tab Facebook App.
• What is your plan B? _____________________________________________________________________________________
